BALANCED DIET

Nutrients are the substances derived from food during the process of digestion.Nutrients comes in three categories which are very essential for the body and these are carbohydrates, proteins, and fat required for the growth, repair, maintenance and energy. The body also requires fibre, vitamins and minerals which are present in varying quantities in different types of food. this is what we called the balanced diet where in you have balanced proportion of nutrients in you food.
A balanced diet contains different types of foods in such quantities and proportions that the need for calories, minerals, vitamins and other nutrients is adequately.Eating a well balanced diet on a regular basis and staying at your ideal weight are critical factors in maintaining your emotional and physical well-being.

1. Proteins, Fat & Carbohydrates.:-Our daily requirement of all of these is in a ratio of P1 : F1 : C3. In percentage, we need 20% Proteins, 20% Fat & 60% Carbohydrates. Body needs 2000 - 3000 Kcals daily for its regular work. One gram of protein & carbohydrate provides 4 cals each, while one gram of fat contains 9 cal. Therefore we need 100gm of proteins, 100gm of fat & 600gm of carbohydrates daily. The daily requirement varies depending upon the level of daily activity.
2. Vitamins, Minerals, fibres: Just like vitamins, minerals help your body grow, develop, and stay healthy. The macromineral group is made up of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, potassium, chloride, and sulfur. The body uses minerals to perform many different functions — from building strong bones to transmitting nerve impulses.
There are 8 vitamins required for the body vitamin A,BI,C,D,E,B6,B12,B2
3.Water:Water makes up more than two thirds of the weight of the human body, and without it, we would die in a few days. The human brain is made up of 95% water, blood is 82% and lungs 90%. thus for healthy nutrition one should take more and more of water.
Thus we should take the balance diet for the healthy wellbeing.
