The skin is the largest organ of the body and yet being ignored by us to maintain our skin’s health.One of its major functions is to remove a portion of the body's waste products by sweating. If the toxins escape through the skin they damage the skin's health integrity which includes the skin disorders like acne , eczema and psoriasis.about one or two decades ago skin cancer was a rarely discussed topic, and was usually a problem in old age people.but today, the threat and reality of skin cancer is very real. According to research approximately one out of every five Americans will develop skin cancer in the course of his or her lifetime. Or we can say that skin cancer is the most common cancer that doctors see. Although we can keep our skin healthy by taking little bit of care.Following are the five tips for the healthy skin-

HEALTHY DIET: A Healthy diet is the best way to keep your skin look and feel at the best.Taking plenty of citrous fruits, vegetables, grains and proteins may help you in keeping skin healthy.Research says that a diet rich in vitamin C and lower in fats and carbohydrates may promote the skin looking younger.
AVOIDING STRESS : Avoiding stress can make your skin look more glowing, acne breakouts and other skin problems.Hence to improve healthy skin and healthy state of mind plan out things to do,to control stress by doing yoga and the things you enjoy.
TREATING IT GENTLY:Daily cleansing can make ypur skin rough so one should try to deal with it gently by avoiding strong soaps,daily moisturizing.
AVOID SMOKING: Smoking is one of the strongest reason of destroying your skin as it makes the skin looks older and leads to wrinkles.It narrows the tiny blood vessels in the outer layers of skin, which decreases blood flow. This depletes the skin of oxygen and nutrients, such as vitamin A, that are important to skin health. Hence one should quit smoking.
PROTECTION FROM SUN: A longer time of skin to sun exposure can cause wrinkles, freckles, age spots and rough, dry skin. Sun exposure can also leads more-serious problems, such as skin cancer. we can avoid it by wearing protective outfit like full sleeves shirts brimmed hats etc,putting sunscreen when goin out from home
