Anemia is a medical condition in which the red blood cell(RBC) count or haemoglobin is less than normal.Blood is of two parts- liquid part, called plasma and a cellular part. The cellular part contains several different kinds of cell types. The RBC are the most important cell types. The other cell types are the white blood cells and platelets.Red blood cells are made in the bone marrow and when they are mature they are released into the blood stream.Even though they are made in the bone marrow there are other factors which are responsible for their production.like for example iron is a very important component of the hemoglobin molecule, erythropoietin is alos one of the factor of producing the RBCs.
